New to site and looking for inspiration

Hi guys I am currently 155 pounds and have so far lost 35 pounds since March 2015 :carrot: . I hope to lose at least 25 pounds more before my anniversary trip in November (the reason I finally found the will to get it together). :) I'm losing steam I think? So I'm joining all you fine people who are in the same or similar boat as I am in hopes of being re-encouraged(?) :)

:welcome: lpn0603! 35 lbs, wow! :congrat: I bet you already look amazing, and when you lose that other 25 lbs, you are going to be S-M-O-K-I-N-G on your anniversary trip! :flame: C'mon now! You can do it! You're so close! :cheer:

Welcome! I have found the accountability to be instrumental in my staying on track. I post here every day. I suggest finding a group you can be accountable to and jumping right in!

Hi lpn, great job with those 35 pounds! wow! 190 to 155 is amazing since March.

So why are you losing steam? is it because you look gorgeous at 155 and you are getting comfortable?

Thank you for the nice words!! I had a malfunctioning scale which told me I was back into the 140's and then the next day jumped up 5 pounds and I had just started my cycle so I was pretty bummed on top of being very fatigued lol I weighed in today at 156.8 after burning 1000 calories on Saturday and tonight. I'm not going to let this deter me but it did feel like a slap in the face to see I was not where I hoped to be at :(

 LPN!

I'm new here also and looking for encouragement like you. You've done well so far so don't beat yourself up.

I just got rid of a malfunctioning scale. My weights were never consistent. I would get on the scale before I got in the shower and again after I got out and the difference was as much as +/- 5 lbs! :o

Good luck to you. I hope we can find some motivation and encouragement on here.

Hey thanks for the encouragement :)

Yeah that scale sounds evil lol I shouldn't rely so heavily on the number but I can't help myself :) wish I could be one those weekly or monthly weighers but I can't stand not knowing. I bought my new scale and so far it has seemed very accurate thank goodness lol the fat percentage, water percentage and the muscle poundage on it fluctuates a lot though so I may just ignore those readings!
