Hi everyone. My name is Monica and I would like to begin my weight loss journey. I just happened to come across this site! Awesome! :)

I'm 38. I have horrible migraines and plantar fasciitis primarily in one foot. I have tried to enroll in trial research for my migraines but am always turned away due to my weight and BMI. Yesterday at my quarterly doctor visit weight finally came up when I was talking about my foot. My doctors first advice was to have gastric surgery which my insurance does not cover. I was confused as to why my doctor wouldn't question my diet or any other suggestions. So needless to say I have been researching today about caloric intake, diet plans and looking for support and motivation.

I am so glad I came across this site. Just from the few comments I have read I am feeling my motivation building up.
