Hi there!
Newbie here. I decided I needed to hunt down a good forum and take the plunge. I could really use a community around me. I work from home and lately find myself sort of in a self imposed isolation.
Over the last two years my two best friends have moved away and I have lost my support group. My husband is supportive but he's heard the same things for 10 years now! "I'm gonna lose weight" "I'm gonna lose weight".
I've tried so many "diets" and "plans" I'm sure like many, many others and never succeeded, I think mainly because I never fashioned them for me and my actual lifestyle.
I've finally settled on just counting calories. I started out eating whatever I wanted as long as I logged the calories. Now I'm working on more REAL foods and less processed.
I am excited to be here and can't wait to participate.
Off to find and read a few success stories!
