Sick of yoyoing, but don't know how to stop :(
This year I have gained A LOT of weight. And I was also very very lean this year, it felt amazing! But after my trip to NYC and Hawaii, I returned to London. And I got down, and started to drink and eat a lot, and over the course of 5 months of being unhealthy I have gotten fat.
Now, I am embarking on eating healthy so I can get back into great shape! But at the end of the night, I start getting cravings, and I tend to crack, and yo yo. I have tamed this problem, but now is back. I cannot seem to keep it going. I just want to go to a shop and buy some delicious foods and snack on them all day long! Sigh, when I am thin, eating healthy seems so easy that I delude myself into thinking if I get out of shape I can easily become thin again. The worst part is how everyone is always commenting on my weight, thin or fat. I feel so conscious when I am fat, that I really don't want to see anyone. |
Welcome to the forum!
I don't know if it would work for anyone else, but I restrict my eating-out and junk food purchases by giving myself an allowance every other week for those things, so I have to pick and choose what's worth it. It also helps me save money. I think people are going to comment no matter what weight you're at. It's just the way (some) people are. :( But I also think it's important to learn to be okay with yourself and feel self confident no matter what your body looks like at a given time. It's something that comes naturally to some of us but not to others. I can't give you much advice there, but I hope you feel better about yourself soon. :) |
I have found that it is super hard to stay at one weight as well, it is something I definitely need to work harder at.
Hang in there and good luck on your WL journey! |
