Hello!
Hi everyone. I'm new here, hoping to find new friends, help with issues I'm having, and perhaps a little motivation!
I'm 36, 5'5", and I weigh about 190 lbs. My highest weight was 200 lbs, which I weight just before I had heart surgery to repair a mitral valve prolapse in 2012. I have several health issues I deal with. I still take beta blockers for my heart, and I also take anti-depressants. I am in a constant battle with fatigue (I blame the beta blockers). I want SO bad to lose weight. I've struggled and battled and fought, and so far, I've never been able to win this battle. A friend told me to just accept that I'm made this way. All my life I've been overweight. I'd love to love my body for once. Maybe I can finally do it :) |
Welcome to the forum! YOU CAN DO IT! Don't accept something less than what you dream of being. Make sure that you follow doctor's recommendations regarding exercising. I have a bad lower back and can only walk for exercise, but with calorie counting have managed to lose weight.
