Starting Over
So a while back, I decided to make a change and started eating healthier. This was fresh out of high school, and I managed to lose about half of my goal. And then I plateaued. NOTHING seemed to be working, I was extremely stressed with classes and work, and I just quit.
Now, I'm pretty much back to my starting place, and I'm read to try it again. If nothing else, I've got a new-found respect for that weight I plateaued at, so hopefully if it happens again I'll be less frustrated/impatient with it. I lost the weight my first time calorie counting, but that's hard to do ALL the time. I'll probably start counting calories, and then tweak the plan from there. I'm looking forward to being less tired/aching all the time. I think that was my favorite side effect from weight loss! |
Hi, Superhero--
Welcome! I think you will like this site; there's lots of good information and support. Good luck and check in often! |
I'm a seasoned veteran as to diets of all kinds. I bet I can look at a meal
and come very close to the calorie amount it has in it, I've counted calories so many times! ha! Now I can guess close enough to where I don't really have to weigh and measure foods, just trust and have patience with myself and then it feels more natural and less stringent and rigid. Welcome to the forum, I'm fairly new here as well. . |
I'm pretty good at guessing calorie amounts for meals as well :) that's part of why I like calorie counting. Its easy
|
Good luck.

Calorie counting is not everything in reducing weight moreover you need to put efforts so that you can get the results. :)
Good Luck |
