Doing This For My Kids

Hi All! I am new to this forum and to the weight loss community! I have always been overweight, since I was 6-7 years old, and my whole family is.. I struggled through school trying to fit in with others because of this. I am now 23, married with children and need to make a change, for my kids AND myself.. As I tucked my son in bed recently, he looked at me and said "Mommy, I wish you could run around with me and sissy!" This broke my heart. It was then that I realised, I am not only robbing myself of a happy, healthy life, but I am also robbing my kids of a happy, healthy mother.. I recently gave birth to my second child, a baby girl.. Before I became pregnant with my oldest (5 year old son) I weighed 208lbs -- and I thought that was a lot!! I now weigh 257lbs.. I have had 2 C-sections, which have certainly not done my body any favours, I need to lose weight and tone up, A LOT!! A weight that would make me comfortable is 199lbs, once I hit that goal, we will go from there... I don't know how it feels to weigh less than 200lbs, but I am ready to! Any advice, support, etc.. is GREATLY APPRECIATED.. I need all the help I can get! :)

Awww, welcome. I am sure you will find the support you need here -- It seems like people have lost a TON of weight with the help and community cheerleading for them as they figure out what works :)
