Hi All~ I'm on day 5 of Atkins induction and am needing support!! Had a hysterectomy about year and half ago, and my weight shot up from moderately overweight (165-175) to obese (202)
So on day 5 and I've only lost 2 pounds. Know i'm in ketosis because I pee on the stix and have all the symptoms including horrible headache thats gone now thank heavens!!! I feel pretty good, definitely LIKE not having the cravings, but kinda bummed because I was hoping I'd loose more quickly for motivation. The "hopeless" feeling is what has prevented me from sticking with anything so far.

Welcome Kaava! I think there is an active low-carb board here in the forum, so I hope you find your way over to that group! There are many people who have great success with that plan and make it work long-term, so hang in there, you can do this!
