3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

My whole life I've been overweight, as a 10 year old child I was told I had "baby fat", baby fat turned into "big boned", and big boned gave way for "just not like the other girls". After a while you learn to read between the lines, I always knew I didn't have a body to be proud of, but I managed to be confident in myself anyway, didn't stop me from eating all of my favourite, sugar laden foods. I'm only 19, nearly 20 years old, and after meeting the love of my life while travelling in Budapest (I'm Irish myself) a year and a half ago, I moved to Denmark to live a life with him.

We overate, overindulged, lived life at it's most gluttonous, and now, at the start of 2014, I realise I am twenty pounds past my highest weight ever, not healthy for my age, and I am finding myself more and more depressed every day. So two weeks ago I decided a change was needed, and I have NEVER felt better about myself! I feel proud for the first time in my life, and I'm looking to make friends who can help me keep this pride going, and who I can help keep going on their quests. I don't just want to lose weight, I want to be healthy, to treat my body with the love I have denied it for so long.

So, let me stop rambling now! I am embarking on this diet/lifestyle change, without taking any method in particular other than cutting out extremely high fat foods, replacing them with healthy alternatives, and cutting down my portions, just trying to be good to myself! I can't wait to meet all of you and help you along your journeys!
