New Here from E. TN

Hi to all!

Am new here & only found it when I googled info on Slimquick 3. Decided to sign up so I could keep track of what I'm doing and maybe get a little support along the way. I guess I'll try to find the diabetes section, since I'm trying to deal with that as well -- and by "trying to deal" I mean taking the meds the MD prescribed, but not doing much else.

>SIGH!< :(

Anyway, I'm up for friending other newbies so we can work this thing together! I'm getting married in June and I've got to get into a size 18 dress (at most... less would be better). Am wearing a 20w (aka 22) right now.

Meanwhile... I'd like to know a few things.

1. Where do you get the cool weight loss tickers that show at the bottom of folk's posts? Diggin' 'em!
2. Same for the 10lb & 5lb cheerleader smiley guys.
3. And which way to the 40ish & diabetic forum?

Thanks for the help & wish me luck (and will power vs Little Debbie!):cookie: :cookie:

Welcome!

Weight loss tickers are available after you've been a member for 20 days and posted 20 times.

The diabetic subforum is the first subforum under "Dieting with Obstacles", and the 40-somethings subforum is in the Support Group subforums area :)

:cheer::cheer2::cheer3:

Cheerleaders are for everyone. Select [Advanced] under the box where you post, then select [more] from the list to the right of the box. Click on any 'smiley' and it appears in your post. The three above can also be typed as follows (without spaces)
: cheer: : cheer2: : cheer3:

One becomes eligible for a weight loss tracker after 20 days and 20 posts, as penmage posted.

Good luck on your journey.

Good luck, WGnMO! I just joined in Jan, as well...so, I'm a Newbie, too! Everyone has been enormously helpful and supportive...and reading the posts from members who have lost sooo much weight, bit by bit and baby step by baby step, is tremendously inspirational!
Good luck on your journey toward your "wedding weight!":)
