Hello from Germany!

Oh my gosh, I'm from the Midwest, but currently in Germany for 6 months and I don't think my pants can handle much more of these amazing carbs. I'm pretty active...but not routinely 'gym' active. which has equated to some added lbs. since my Europe tour began a few months ago. I've recently become obsessed with jumping rope...yet I stink at it! lol. I have tried doing the excercise videos and can get to about 14 min at any video and then I lose interest. I WANT to lose weight...but I'm not engaged. Looking for some inspiration.

Hello!
I think we have a similar starting and goal weight! :) I like jumping rope too - what is your record of jumps without stopping? I like tae-bo workout videos, I do them from youtube. Do you recommend any videos?

The thing that motivated me was just weighing myself and thinking that 200 pounds is too much for me. I also keep a list of reasons why I want to lose weight on my wall, so whenever I think it's too difficult or forget why I'm doing this, I can look at it and stay motivated. Maybe that would help you too? Anyway, when you start and get used to some helthy habits, it's not even that hard!

Yes, we can! ;)

well....I'm not that good. But today I got up to 34 without stopping, and without double hopping. I'm officially 12 hours, soda free. While it is not that long, it is a record for me. I also had a pretty good day. I had 2 eggs over easy with 2.5 cups of steamed cabbage for lunch. I signed up for myfitnesspal today, and I'm pretty excited about it. I also tried 2 videos today. so I kept my heart rate up between jump roping and exercise videos for about 60 minutes today. I'm also still recovering from a weekend trip to Paris. We did the stairs down from platform 2. Online it says there are 720 stairs...and my calves are killing me!

any plans for the day to keep yourself on track?
