Back Again -
So I stumbled onto this sight at the beginning of October and really loved reading posts, getting motivated by others and the overall feel of the community. Sadly, like people do sometimes, I got offtrack, stopped checking in, stopped being aware of my body and sort of let it all slide. I can't blame anyone but myself but just as I started dieting and feeling great about myself, my boyfriend and I broke up (rather, he broke up with me) so I had all those not worth it feelings and sort of strayed from my goal.
However, still in the last 3 months I've lost 17 pounds, so at least I didn't have to totally start over. My name is Charity. I live in Ohio. I've been chunky my whole life, but got to be obese at the end of highschool. I'm 25 years old. My birthday is on April 13th and it just so happens a 5k is being hosted in my town on that day, with all proceeds going to charity (yea, sometimes I hate my name). So my goal is to follow through and do the 5k. It doesn't matter if you run, walk or crawl (but I sure would like to jog most of the way) so I'm going to do it come **** or high water. I'm promising not to give up no matter what life throws at me this time. |
Hi Charity.
A break up during a diet is certainly a challenging hurdle that can knock you over, but it sounds like you're back on track. Good job! It seems like you've got an attainable goal you're looking forward to with that upcoming 5k. I wish you the best of luck. |
Welcome back Charity :)
