2014 is the year!

  • I made a decision on December 27, 2009 that I would lose weight. I was 237 on that day. As of January 2, 2014 I was 167. I am aiming to lose 50 lbs this year, by the Summer would be awesome but definitely by Christmas ! For now I've given up wheat, gluten, processed sugar and fast food. My fitness goal is yo move 30 minutes a day....I'm lazy!

    I enjoy roller skating, hiking (little hills!) and riding my bike (casually!).

  • Welcome, FatAbbi! This is a great place for support and encouragement, especially when the weight loss slows because there's less of it to lose.
  • Yes the slowing is rough! I've not been dieting much last year so I'm hoping my body is ready to go again. I've done a complete lifestyle change so just need To ramp it up.
  • I set a goal of 1.24 lbs a week for 50 weeks. Set up 9 milestone goals with a reward given when each is achieved. First goal is 22 lbs away as of the 2nd of January. At that point I hit a normal BMI
