OMG.....its been 5 yrs since I 1st discovered 3FC!!!
 

yeah yeah yeah....new year new resolutions....seems redundant right??
5 yrs have passed since I first started posting on 3FC-several close family member deaths, completed nursing program & graduated, 2 kids in HS now, ups &downs in a long marriage, and now I am in my 40s! Yes it has been a jam packed 5 yrs and I am 5 yrs older and not anywhere closer to my goal weight....ugh....
Now its time for me, and I intend to be selfish and take time for me. Who else is gonna take care of me but me?? ;)

I joined 3FC in 2006........8 freaking years ago....and now here I am...almost back at my highest weight ever. I feel your pain. This is it. This is the year I get my **** together. My motto is 2014....the year to eat clean (er). LOL!! And u r right, if we don't take of ourselves, who will? Certainly not our husbands.;)

Haha Cheryl!!! Love the husband comment! I never used to ask for what I want- these 5 yrs have changed it all for me. I want to be thinner, healthier, and happier. The thin and health part should take care of most of the happy aspect but not all. Making time for me-its a trap a lot of women fall into....everyone else 1st...mom/wife last. Not this year...not this gal ;)

Welcome! I am back again as well after finding this site 3 to 4 years ago. Here is to hoping that 2014 is OUR year!!

This is our year for sure! I'm new to the site. However, I have joined weight loss forums before and haven't really hit any of my goals. I don't think I was as determined as I am this time around!
