This is a coming back type thing!

Hello, 3FC, I've missed you! I fell off the face of the planet in sometime at the start of October—we had an influx of family things going on, visitations and then we had to help someone move, and then we had to go visit family out of state, and then... and then I decided to fall up some stairs and managed to sprain my ankle as well as break my big toe! Whee, funtimes—not! I won't give details, it's pretty awful (don't ask me, I don't want to go into it, ha! I felt so dumb, who falls UP stairs!). I felt like such a potato-footed dummy after that, so I let my boyfriend wait on me hand and foot since it made him feel better—he felt bad about the whole thing, I did an awful number on my knee a few years back when he didn't catch me in time. I played a lot of video games and ate a lot of soup and also salad, which are not very fun things to eat en masse. And if you've ever broken a toe, you know it's not the end of the world. So I've been trying to get up and walk more now that I feel mostly better, and that my ankle seems to have healed up good and proper. My toe is still ruined, but such is the way of things, eh? It will probably be less bruised and sore eventually, but I'm on it so much nowadays and it is just so darned stubborn. Argh

Anyhow, I'd like to apologize for having vanished like that, it wasn't my intent. Especially for doing a disappearing act regarding challenges... which I feel so out of the loop of, I know I'll get back into the swing of things eventually!

Since I went poof! And vanished I've lost a total of 8 more lbs, so I'm down to 214. Am very excited by that! Doubt I'll see onederland until after the new year, but I feel certain I'll be able to reach my year-end goal of 212 before 2014 arrives. I'm certain I could have accomplished more, but I haven't been exercising, so. That's just how it is, I guess.

It is good to be back! And if I seem to have made light of my issues, that is just how I handle these things. Missed you all! :D /hugs

I need to update my ticker!

Welcome back :) It's great to see you! Sorry to hear about the toe incident, but, wow, can't believe you lost weight while laid up recovering, that is impressive :carrot:

Thank you! :D It wasn't an easy, straight down type of thing, the loss was rather... bumpy, up and down and up and down, and then just sticking at times. I know if I'd been active, I would have accomplished so much more. But I am totally ready to re-embrace the "getting active" part of things!

Can do that in my living room though, because it is wayyy too cold out today to try anything there.

Fairandfree, good to have you back! Come on over to the December Weight Loss Challenge if you feel up to it! I don't know about the December Exercise Challenge for you though. It sounds like you need to heal some more. Glad you were not more seriously injured! Welcome back and congrats on the 8 lbs lost! Great job! :cp:
