Herrooo!!
I've been on my weight loss journey for, oh...2+ years now? I've spent much of the past year stuck in the 130's. I usually hover around 134 but I finally purchased a scale this week and saw 139! I panicked and purchased a gym membership. :) I hadn't been hitting the gym because I was concerned about money but getting back to 140 and above isn't an option! I'm a gamer and a reader, a total nerd and proud of it! I'm something of a flake so I've tried picking up many different hobbies over the years but few have stuck... Oh well! If anyone would ever like to chat, I'm online quite a bit! |
Welcome, Dollfaise! I'm a librarian and very much a reader. One of the disadvantages of loving books and computers is that it's not a very active way to spend the day. I've challenged myself to daily exercise (even if it's just a walk or twenty minutes of calisthenics and stretching). I'm up to 127 days since I've already taken a walk today. That's been very motivating -- kind of like beating my score every day in a game.

OMG you're a librarian?! I've always wanted to work in a library, my heart skipped a beat when I read that, you are so lucky!
I actually take my books on the treadmill with me, I've read entire reading assignments on the treadmill. :) Some took an hour or two and I read every page while walking! I usually have trouble focusing but walking seems to focus my mind for some reason. |
