I'm new here and started my weight loss program today. I've been down this road before. In 2008, I lost 100 lbs. I swore I would never gain the weight again, I had worked too hard to go back. Then, in nov. 2011, I shattered the bones in my right leg. It took 1.5 years, 2 surgeries, some complications and ample physical therapy, but I'm walking again (yay!). Problem is, I gained 70 pounds in the process.
I was so excited when my surgeon gave me the okay to resume my

addiction. After 15 minutes in class, I had to leave because I felt I was going to pass out. Going from being a self professed zumba queen to now this, was extremely disheartening and embarrassing.

I have a lot of work ahead of me, but if I did it once, I can do it again.
nice to meet you all!

dolphin! I'm so glad that your leg is all better now!
I'm so proud of you for getting back on track! It's certainly understandable why you gained the weight back but I know it's frustrating. Good for you in taking the steps to lose it again! You'll find lots of support here and I know you will be an inspiration to others for your determination and courage. Good luck!
