Newbie in British Columbia, Canada

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum (actually all types of forums, blogs, etc.) and have spent the last couple of hours searching through many of the discussions.

I'm a 42 year old, mother of 2, Breast Cancer Survivor (4 years and counting!!) looking to repair and heal my body after taking many toxic drugs. Not sure what route to go for the weight loss, but from what I've ready already, I know I will find motivation, encouragement and lots of helpful tips from this community.

Looking forward to seeing the pounds drop and my health return.

Wishing success to you all!
Trudi

Hi Trudi! :welcome: and :congrat: on being a breast cancer survivor! You'll find lots of support here, so I'm glad you found us! Since you are concerned about the toxic drugs you were exposed to, you might want to consider starting simply by getting away from processed food as much as possible and going with natural whole foods. There is a Whole Foods forum in the Food section. Add some walking or whatever kind of exercise you like, and that's a a great way to begin! Whichever route you choose, good luck! I wish you the best!
