Feeling "blah"!
Hello-
I've been here before and I'm back at the same weight so more depressed than ever about it. I hope to lose a minimum of 110 pounds. Eek! It's good to know there are people here who "get it." Thanks for letting me join you. Please wish me luck! Karen |
Good luck. Its a journey but one that is so necessary and worth it dont ever give up! Even if at first you dont suceed try try again. That is my new motto. As u can see I have a lot of weight to lose but the one thing abt this time is im not in any hurry. As long as I am making progress I am happy with losing 1-2 lbs a week bc at least im losing something and im not gaining. And this time its for good! Im learning all kinds of new things in the process. This road is not easy this I know for sure but when u think abt it anything in this world worth having is worth, takes hard work. So please dont give up. You deserve to be healthy. You are worth it!

:wel3fc: ThinkinThin, and Skinnyki, you have a wonderful attitude-- slow and steady wins the race. I'm coming to think that too. Besides, even at 1# a week, which seems tiny from the initial weight loss that most of us experience in the first week (all being water weight of 5-7#) it leads us to actually losing FAT over time. Besides, 1 lb a week equals 52 pounds a YEAR! Goodness!

Hi Karen! :welcome: BACK! We definitely get it! You know, if I could post one "sticky" message at the top of this forum, it would be to say, "If you need to lose weight or maintain what you've lost, don't leave!" I made the mistake once of leaving 3FC and after finally working up the motivation to try again, I came back, and I'm so happy I did! This place is just the most wonderful support system for weight loss. I'm going to reach my goal this time, and you can too! I often look at my old ticker and wish I had stuck it out before. I'd be in maintenance now instead of working just to get to where I left off before! But as I said, I'm going to get there. After all, I've seen the alternative, and I don't want to see it ever again! So jump in, and if you become discouraged along the way, whatever you do, don't leave again. This is the place to be! Good luck! You can do it!

Feeling Blah
:bravo::cp::carrot:I'm feeling "blah" too. Sometimes it so hard to keep plugging along. In my my I think oh just give up and then THANKfully, I say one day at a time. My mantra is this is a marathon not a sprint and I just keep plugging along. I know I can do this if I just take it day by day.
