Hellooo

  • Hello everyone! I'm new to the dieting and exercise world. Today was my second day and I have a lot to lose! I'm 22 and I've been raised to be comfortable with my body and my weight, however, I finally decided I am sick of wearing size 18 jeans and shopping in the women's plus section! Clothes are so much more expensive when you're a bigger woman. I get jealous when my friends tell me about the shirts they got for three bucks.... You never see that for big girls!

I've thought about the journey of weight loss for quite some time, but never did anything about it. Yesterday I started counting calories and exercising. I did an hour yesterday and an hour today. I am determined to get at least 40 lbs off, but 100 would be even better!!

It's going to be a long road, and I hope to meet friends on this journey. The more support, the better!
  • Some say that just getting started is a really big step, and I believe them! Hi there, and welcome!
  • Good luck!
  • Hi Rageous! It sounds like you are quite motivated so that's a great start! Since you are a new dieter/exerciser, just be aware that it took a long time to put the weight on and it takes a long time to take it off, so be patient, keep up your good efforts, and you'll be successful! Good luck!
  • You need to really want to lose the weight, consistency is key. The weight will come off.

You've come to the right place for motivation, you can do it!!
