Ready to go!
Hey, everyone!
Last winter/spring I decided to finally do something & start losing this weight I've been toting around, and managed to work off 40 lbs before an accidental summer break. The first 40 lbs gone have been great, I mean, I've gone from a size 22 to now a 12 that's barely hanging on my hips, my face is less round, I'm happier when I see newer photos of myself, and I do get people commenting all of the time on how much better I look, which yeah, super ego booster.
As nice as that all is, though, and as pleasant as my lazy summer has been, I am beyond ready to start the second half of this. So I'm back on track, have been for these last 2-3 weeks, actually, and am already down from 180 to 173 :carrot:
Fingers crossed here that making myself be active on these forums will help keep me motivated to make it through these next 40 lbs. Also if anyone is up for it, I would love to have an accountability buddy :smug:
