I never thought I'd join a weight loss forum. I didn't want to admit to myself, much less anybody else that I AM Overweight! I am 42 and I grew up thin. I was thin throughout my 20's and most of my 30's. I have somehow managed to put on 45 pounds in the last 3 years! Yes, that's 4lbs a month! I want the old me back! I miss that girl that didn't mind having her picture taken, that girl that didn't mind looking in the mirror. She seems to have gotten lost in the last 3 years under 45 extra pounds and I really miss her.

Hi VaSa! Welcome! Whatever diet plan you choose to follow--counting calories, reducing carbs, intuitive eating, etc.-- and/or if you plan to exercise the pounds away, you will find lots of support here! Good luck on your journey back to that body you feel comfortable in!
