Hi there, this is my first time joining a weight loss forum. *waves* I celebrated my 30th birthday this summer and was bummed that I'm kicking off this decade feeling sluggish and about 30 pounds heavier than I was 10 years ago. So my birthday gift to myself is to get a better handle on my health and feel fabulous again!
I've come here for inspiration (seriously, you ladies and gents are so courageous through your successes and setbacks!) and some accountability too. I've crash dieted in the past and figured out it's not healthy or effective so I'm learning to be more patient and gentle with myself. My "goal weight" is simply wherever healthy eating habits and moderate exercise take me.
Anyway, it's nice to meet you all and I'll be seeing you around the boards.
