Hello from a newbie
 

Hello,
My name is Amber. I am a mom of 3, dispatcher and EMT. I will be starting paramedic school the end of August. I started following weight watchers because I need to be in better shape for my jobs. I would love to become a flight medic in a few years and really can't be accepted at the weight I am now.
I have put my kids and family first for a long time. The youngest was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and lung cancer in 2008. 12 rounds of chemo and two liver transplants later he is doing much better. It's time for me now.

What a huge amount you've had to deal with - respect! Good that you find time for you now and to look after yourself.
