Default Starting again after gaining it all back

Greetings

In 2011 I lost over 27 kgs, going from 101 to 73.4 kgs in 10 months.

Then I was targeted by a guy I'd had a crush on for 7 years. He cruelly did a "pump and dump" on me, rubbed other women in my face, selectively ignored me, treated me like garbage when I tried to be friends afterwards, and when I called him on his shitty behaviour, he cut me off as if we'd never met.

It was utterly devastating and I ended up eating to cope. Yesterday I hit 100 kgs again, and am determined to lose it for good this time. I'm better at spotting Narcissists and sociopaths these days, and am feeling more confident that I can weed these toxic people out of my life ASAP. So I shouldn't need to lug around an extra 40 kgs anymore to protect myself from abusive men.

I intend to lose these 40 kgs by 19 May next year, when I will turn 37.

Good luck on your journey. The life lessons we have to learn suck sometimes. I used to "love" a jerk many years ago. Now that I am older I don't know what I was thinking, except that I wasted too many of my good years on him. Thank goodness we get older and wiser.

That's terrible but at least you found out now than further down the line. Just remember, karma will get him. You have done it once, you can do it again. Best of luck x

Hi sonickel77

I'm also stating again, people that bring negativity into your life you can do without. The only person you need to be good enough for,is you. I had to learn that myself.

I never worry what anyone thinks or says. If there is a problem with them let them have their problem, dont take it on.

I like me as a person, have many friends and fantastic family I feel pretty good about myself,

You have done it before, concentrate on this site and I m sure you wll stay motivated. I'm going to try to get going
