Here I am

Here I am. Really fat are ready to go. Where do I start? I am going to use my old weight watchers points at home. I'm really tired of being obese.

I am tired all the time, I hate the way I look. I hate that two flights of stairs make me need to sit down for two minutes with my heart pounding. I weight more than my hubby, more than my teenage sons. Tired of dieting and failing. I can find clothes to fit anywhere :(. No where. I am a 5X - how gross is that.

I need help, I need friends who understand.

First off - Good luck in your weight loss journey! Secondly ... don't beat yourself up so much. Nothing positive will come of beating yourself down into the gutter. You have reached a point where you want more out of your life ... and you're ready to make the changes! Celebrate that. Ackowledge every decision you make that builds healthy habits. It will be a slow long journey and every day won't be perfect, but stay the course!

Congrats on wanting to make a change. It's not an easy road but it is definitely a rewarding one.

I've had your same feelings...I have a ton of cute and pretty clothes in my closet that I just don't fit anymore and it sucks! I hated shopping for clothes because it was such a hassle and things just don't fit or they don't look attractive. I was so down on myself and would wear baggier clothes (my thinking was it'd cover up my fat) but like you I got the point where it affected who I was. I promise you though, it's so rewarding when you step on the scale and you see that you've lost a pound(s). You start to feel better about yourself and gain confidence. I"m down 21lbs in less then 2 months and I used to never go anywhere without a baggy jacket but now I have new clothes and my confidence is coming back. (I just went swimming with my sister-in-law which is was a HUGE thing for me). It's not easy but with this forum and support and confidence in yourself (that's important!) you'll be dropping the weight in no time. On days when it seems pointless or you're not seeing the results just pop on here and you'll get a boost. You've just got to really truly know you can do this. They will be set backs and temptations but if you have that faith in yourself nothing can stop you. Best of luck! I look forward to hearing updates on your journey!
