Hi everyone. I'm a 31 year old mother of 3. Haven't always been dealing with my weight. At 22 I had a set of twins, and after them all my time/energy/focus went into them, and I lost myself in the process. I now weigh more (242lbs) than when I was pregnant with them (190lbs), and find that depressing. For the past 10 years I've been yoyo dieting. At one point I went down to 160, but then shot right back up to over 200. I don't have any long term goal weights in mind, my goal is just to be comfortable in my own skin again and feel healthy and happy.

Hello and welcome! I'm in Ontario too (southwestern Ontario). I am a mom to two and has a similar starting weight to you! I've been calorie counting and have found it to work really well because I can still have treats here and there as long as I stay under my recommended calories. But different things work for everyone.

Hi everyone. It's been a couple days. Working non-stop. I'm from a little town called Sault Ste. Marie. Most people know it as "the soo". I'm also counting calories. Using an app for my iphone called My Fitness Pal. LOVE it, as I can just scan barcodes of whatever I'm eating and it keeps track for me. I've already started seeing results. Very happy with my progress. Have found a short term goal for myself recently as well. I'd like to fit into a pair of jeans by my birthday, which is July 19th.
I've been to The Soo many years ago now. Looks like you are doing really well! You'll get into those jeans in no time.
