So glad I found this web site
I have been a lifetime member of Weight Watchers since 2008. I had lost 50on my own, then another 100 on WW. Now I am up 30 and really struggling with points plus. It just does not work for me.
I found this site when I was looking for information on the old points plan. I am planning on going back on the old points plan and I am happy to find a support community. |
Sorry to hear that PP did not work for you. I went back to the old plan too.
Good luck!!! You can do it! |
Thanks amandie! I spent some time looking around the forums last night. This place looks wonderful.

I used the old points plan a few years ago when I tried WW. Just curious what the difference is on the points plus and the old points plan?
|
On the old plan, points were calculated with a formula based on Calories, fat grams and fiber. The new plan's formula is based on fat grams, carbs, protein and fiber. You get more points on the new plan, but many foods also have a higher point value. For instance, on the old plan the single serving bag of light microwave popcorn had 1 point, it now has 3 points. On the old plan, I got 23 daily points and 35 weekly flex points. On the new plan, I get 26 daily points and 49 weekly points.
The other big difference is the point value of fruits and veggies. On the old plan (if I remember correctly) some veggies and all fruits had point values. On the new plan, fruits and veggies are free with the exception of potatoes, corn and avacados. |
Shyleia- Yup, what Bonzan said! :)
Looking forward to seeing more of you around here, Bonzan! |
