Hi there!
I have been reading here on and off for a year. I tried to lose weight last summer but as usual failed. I was thin my whole life. Once I hit 20 the weight slowly started to creep up. I went on to have two kids in my twenties, and gained even more. I'm now 29 and have gained about 95lbs in 10 years.
I have tried to lose weight so many times, but never lost more than 5lbs before quickly gaining it back (plus more). I always tried to exercise a bad diet away.
I finally realize that I need to get my head out of the sand. I discovered calorie counting and have been doing that for the past week and half and for the first time n my life weight is coming off and I can feel changes happening in my body. I'm also doing a couch 2 5k program a few times a week, and doing weight bearing exercises. I know in my heart that I am in this 100% this time and I am SO excited to lose this weight once and for all! I spent my 20's getting fat, but I am going to spend my 30's and beyond being thin and healthy!
Looking forward to learning lots from those that have been doing this a while!
