Here I go...
For the last year I've said I was going to start losing weight again probably half a dozen times and I just keep giving up on it. I'm frustrated and tired of feeling unhappy with myself. For the most part I'm comfortable in my body, I just wish I felt better.
I signed up to walk in my first ever 5k a few months ago and D-Day is coming up next week. I'm walking in The Color Run and I think it will be a good first 5k. It isn't a timed event and there are lots of people walking so I feel confident there will not be any pressure to try and kill myself. Here's to a good walk and a get healthy plan I stick with this time around! |
Hi there! I completely understand being unhappy with yourself. I'm in the same boat. I get so self-conscious and I've realized just how much it has made me retreat into my shell. So I've started calorie counting and really watching what I eat. I love that you signed up for a 5k. I give you major props. I would love to do that. My goal is in a couple months going back to Mt. St. Helens and hiking the 14 mile trail. I wish you tons of luck with the walk!! That's something I must add to my bucket list!:)
