Im new! And need buddys!!

Hello all!! :)

Im new to 3FC, however unfortunatly im not new to weight loss attempts!

But this time im serious, hence going public with my weight loss! Im one of these people who need support to get anywhere when shifting the lbs, so i'll be super grateful to any given! In return I shall offer plenty of support and advice :D

I have about 70lbs to lose, which right now seems impossible. Hopefully with some hard work, determination, and the odd rant on here, ill get there! And it would be fantastic if I could get to my goal along with some of you :^:

Lizzie xx

I will happily be your buddy!

Welcome to 3FC, Lizzie! I'm new here as well and have found the information here to be very useful so far. (I've yet to wade through all of it - there's a LOT!)

I can sure relate to feeling like there's such a long journey ahead of you that it just seems impossible. I'm working on reminding myself "that's bs!", when I start feeling like that. One foot in front of the other and we'll get there. Someone on here has a quote that I can't precisely remember, but to paraphrase, "A year from now, you'll be glad you started today."

Stay positive and focused. This group is great for helping with that.

All the best!!

Hey hey! Welcome. :) You can do this. So many folks have tried and "fallen off the wagon", myself included. We just have to keep picking ourselves back up. Stick around 3FC and share your successes and trials, it really helps me out. :)

Hi! I am also new and need to lose about 70 lbs! I definitely need a buddy to help with accountability...maybe we can share daily food and exercise journals, menus, successes and setbacks together!

Welcome!! I'm sort of new as well. I fell off the wagon at the beginning of April, but I am working hard again.

I'm more than happy to buddy up with anyone who wants. I need all the support and motivation I can get :)

Good Luck and Stay Positive!!! YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

Hi!! I'm new as well and could DEF use some buddies. I'm not new to trying to lose the lbs either. I'm shooting for 100 lbs... but for now I'm focusing on 10 lbs at a time.

There is a LOT of info here in 3fc. I've just kinda been poking in here and there. Been reading a lot, and have found a lot of good info and inspiration. The people here seem great.

Hi, Fat2Thin87! I'm new to the forum and well and like to buddy up for encouragement. My goal is lose at least 100lbs. sigh... I've been down this road before but I'm taking somewhat different steps this time around.

Fat2thin87 05-14-2013 02:17 PM

Wow!

Wow i didnt expect so many responces!! Thank you all :o)

Iv found that I can add people to a 'buddies' list on here so i shall add you all :o)

Im thinking about starting a blog on here, just my experiences each week of how things have gone and any tips iv found. Would be brilliant to read any other blogs out there from us newbees to 3FC!

Also, how do I get one of those little weight tracker things under my name/post!? Would really love one to track my weight loss.

There is so much info on here, and like you all, im about to embark on a few evenings of sifting through everything and get my bearings.

Look fowards to chatting with you all and keeping each other motivated!!

Woooo!:dizzy:

I've always found going public and getting involved in a group/forum help so much. It's great to have a support system and people who truly understand... even if they are strangers :) Good luck to you!!!!

Welcome!

I found it really helpful to get involved and post daily in on-going threads so that I'm connected to people.

For me, it's the "Get out of <whatever decade>" and the Beck forum. There are WW, IP, Intuitive Eating, etc etc forums, and I think those can be really helpful as well as some non-program specific threads.

Hi Beth.

Thank you fo your advice! I have just joined in with a thread about calorie counting and being held accountable! So hopefully im finding my feet a bit now on 3FC!?

Iv also started my own blog ( i think its linked under my info on the side!?) so hopefully I will inspire others on their new journeys. xx

balletdancer1993 05-14-2013 04:56 PM

hey!
I will gladly be your buddy too! I just joined because of my seeming dependency on food that has just got to go! I also thrive best when I do not feel isolated. Feel free to contact me and we can all stay accountable together!
