Newbie with PCOS
 

Hello there everyone,

I stumbled across this forum over the weekend while looking for "diets" that work with PCOS. Had a browse as such and really keen to get to know some of you etc.

I was told I had PCOS about a year ago now, and since then have tried a few diets (as I was also told I needed to lose weight), nothing really seemed to work for me. The endless attempts at diets of course sent me on an upward gain of weight - and I have had enough now!

I think I was fooling myself with my weight, until a few weeks ago my 7yr old daughter asked her dad when I was going to have a baby. When he asked why she thought that, she very truthfully said to him 'cos either I was pregnant or just fat. I felt soooo embarrassed :o ! That was my moment - the final straw as such and I now will lose weight.

Having PCOS makes my challenge even harder - but will get there.

i have Pcos too, i'm 23 and im looking for support and someone in a similar situation for support who i can support threw this, im struggling so much with diets and what kind of diets i should me on ext

I too began my journey as a PCOS sufferer and I know your frustrations very well. I found my success with a combination of calorie counting, low carb and intermittent fasting. Good luck to you!
