Hoping for a skinny tomorrow
 
I'm Kayla (23yr) I have been over weight since I was about 15. I have struggled with it ever since. I am trying to just change years of up bringing this time in hopes that once I learn to eat better I can really start the hard work. I'm taking it slow, concentrating on food rather than exercise until I can get my brain in line. So hopefully this time is it for good!

Good for you, Kayla! It's definitely worth the struggle to feel healthy and strong and look great in the mirror! I usually start with exercise because I love to eat, but I hope this works out for you. Do you have a plan?

Welcome! You can do it!! I concentrate more on my food than exercise because I know I am good at exercising but my eating isn't always spot on!

The best plan I have right now is to not plan. The way I see it I have been on diet after diet been to gym after gym. And I always fall threw. I am just educating myself, So when I think "Yeah I can go to McDonalds" The 1000 calorie Meal screams at me before I even get my shoes on. I have a life to live in this body. I might as well take the time to learn to take care of it before i jump in over my head again lol. Thanks for the welcomes :)

Welcome Kayla! Glad to have you join us. What eating plan and exercise are you thinking of doing? I believe that much of my weight loss success has been due to drinking water. My doc recommended for me to drink 100 ounces maximum daily until I got below 200 lbs and then I drink 1/2 my body weight in water daily when below 200 lbs.
