Hi whats up ladies, :) I'm new I'm Scottish and I love listening to music and watching DVDs, I love tattoos and piercings, I am 29 years young, I also love Taekwondo watching and playing.

I currently weigh about 280pounds my goal for now is about 217pounds
My doctor today started me on metformin one tab in morning for a week then two tabs twice daily (1000mg total) one tab in the morning and one at night with my meal.

i'm solely on this med for weight loss only and to help my cravings around my cycle time (like now) and to stop my weight from plying on and off and on and off again.

I have been on Atkins diet many times and although I've lost weight on it a lot of weight on it i can no longer take the food I've sicken myself from it.
I have also been on diet pills (xenical) that didn't agree with me one bit, so i hoping and praying metformin is my savour for lack of a better term.

Hello! I am also from Scotland, 31 years young, love music, DVDs, gaming and (when I can get to EK or Braehead) skating :)

I'm doing Intuitive Eating with a side of calorie counting. Lost 16lbs so far and think i'm about to bust through my first plateau :) Do post here often if you can, so many lovely people here! I think the low-carb forum is pretty busy :)

I've only been Braehead once for ice skating Bradhead is just up the road from me, hehe. I love escape at Braehead i'm surprised they don't have have a skating rink in there.
