hey there

Hey y'all!

I guess I'm supposed to tell you about myself....I'm 21(soon to be 22), a nursing student at PGCC, a musician, artist, writer, dancer and 110 pounds over weight....

Any ideas on where to start other than changing my diet....?

:welcome::wave: You have come to the right place!!

I would suggest starting by tracking the food you eat for a few weeks. Its a great way to see how much you are really eating. It can be a bit of a shock of how quickly calories can add up, a bite of something here, a little extra of something there. Once you have a good idea of what you are consuming, its time to change it up! I use an app (mynetdiary) To count every single calorie I eat. It helps me stay accountable! There are lots of apps/websites out there that make calorie counting a breeze. Try it out and see if it will work for you. There are so many diets and programs out there, its just all about finding what works for you and you will actually stick with it.

Have a look around some of the support groups (20 somethings, 100 lbs club) and see what other people are doing and what is working for them. You will find something that works for you

Good luck on your Journey!
