Finally registered after long wait

Hello everyone.

I've browsed this forum on and off for ~ a year now. I just never registered. I wasn't in the right "mind, body and spirit" to start my weight loss journey.

I am 215 pounds and used to weigh 125 about 8 years ago. I am 27 years old. I feel like nobody really wants a "fat" girl right now so I want to get in shape to get my self confidence back and for health purposes.
My father passed away from diabetes ~ 14 years ago. I know if I continue to gain weight i'm going to have all sorts of problems.

When I went to college in Florida, I got bit by a brown recluse spider which made my immune system go into shock and got psoriasis from it. I also have a gluten/dairy allergy. I am a really big mess i know...and it is so hard to stay away from wheat/dairy all the time, but my psoriasis starts clearing up once i stay away from those foods.

I want to lose ~ 8-10 pounds a month if I can. I am looking for tips to boost my metabolism. Does anyone know about the Raspberry ketone stuff? I wanted to try it but I don't know a lot about it.

I mainly joined this forum finally to meet friends and gather support and support friends. I am easy to get along with and I hope to meet some good people that want to keep each other in "check" each day!

Thank you and I hope i am not boring anyone with my stories.

Welcome & was very interested in reading your story. Congratulations on your weight loss so far that I see in your stats. You'll get lots of support on 3fc & make lots of friends.

I think they may discuss raspberry ketones in a variety of places on the forums, just do a search.
