Frustrated newbie!

:stress: I am soo frustrated! I have a severe form of POTS and it is basically preventing me from doing a lot of things that I would normally do. One of those is being active. If I even try to tidy up my room I end up lying flat on my back hoping I don't pass out or get sick. Then I feel terrible for the rest of the day. Since my POTS flared up I gained about 65 pounds! I am a vegetarian, I eat healthy (on occasion I have a sugar kick- but don't gain wait during it or immediately after it). I am on a medication that causes me to retain fluids, as my blood volume tends to plummet.

Does anyone have suggestions for what I can do! I really need help and support. Thank you!

POTS is Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. Basically it is a disorder of the automatic nervous system. For me when I overdue it I get lightheaded, nauseous, weak, fatigue, GI problems, shaky, and achy. On a number of occasions I have passed out, and I have had to go in to the DR.'s office and get an IV of fluids. Overdoing it for me can be as simple as standing too long (8 min.), exercising too long (moderate for 10 min.), or working/volunteering to long (office work for 3 hours). It is quite life altering.
