* i know this is alot to read… but i hope you do*

Hello im new here and im hoping to meet alot of awesome people whoa re going through the same stuff im going through. My name is Sasha and i am 23 years old. i work at Howard Hughes Medical Institute as a budget clerk. I am 266 lbs and very unhappy. i want to lose 100 lbs. WOW a whole 100 lbs.

i just dont know what to do to start. i dont even know how i got here. im very unhappy with myself and it isnt healthy for me or my boyfriend of 1 year. he has been very kind with me and everything i have been going through the past year that i have been with him. He is very skinny and im very big but that has never bothered him and i love him dearly for that. but enough is enough. i need to be more cautious on that i eat and what i do. i want to make myself happy and when i do that i know that i can fully give him everything he has ever wanted.

its hard being the big girl out my friends and family. no1 fully understands what im going through but i know on here i can find people who feel the same way and are trying to do the same thing i am. and that is to lose this weight and be happy and less complicated.

I was diagnosed with PCOS last year and i know for a fact that i am infertile as of currently. i got my first period in a year and half in January 2013 and it was medically induced by my obgyn. i took Clomid 50mg on my cycle days 4-9 and i took femara to induce my period. it was a struggle because i dint know what to expect but i went through it and with the help of my boyfriend and my dad and my boyfriends mom. i havent got my period for this month yet and i dont want to start on pills again because i was really out of it when i was on them. i want to lose weight and be able to bring in my period naturally. i have heard from various blogs and such that losing weight is the best way. i want to be able to have kids one day and not have to worry if i miscarry or not. too stressful!!!

i dont want to do it just for my period but to emotionally be stable and not be so self conscious on what people say or think when i walk into places or when me and my boyfriend takes me out… i dont want to feel like i embarrass him. im dont feeling the way that i do and i hope to finally put my foot down and say enough is enough and i have to change.

this is the first day of the rest of my life and i wont back down from it.

100 lbs to go and its going to be a **** of a journey.

again i would love if people on here would give me some moral support and i would love to do the same!

i have a heart of gold and will always be there for anyone who is there for me and if any of you beautiful ladies need some moral support or any kind of support i am here! together we can do this and we can beat this and continue the journey to our happiness!

dont be shy!

Sasha <3

Ps. if you have any ideas or cool new ways to go about this weight loss journey… please let me know… im still working on a diet plan and work out plans… if you guys have any success with a routine you had please share with me and i can share with you what i find

Hi Sasha,
I would suggest starting out with a food journal. Track calories, carbs, fat or whichever works for you. For my money, calories mean the most. Then you can see where you're at and that'll give you a better idea of where you want to go. If you already have a plan, ignore me, but you mentioned you didn't know where to start. Check out the MyFitnessPal or LoseIt apps. I also like Monitor YourWeight.

You sound ready. I'm glad you found us
