Hi!!!!!!! NEW HERE & EXCITED/NERVOUS

Hi,

I am new here and so excited to find this site.
I've never done anything like this before but love that there is real support for women who want to lose weight and get in shape!

I am 4 11" and overweight. Have been for most of my 20s. I have developed some unhealthy eating habits during my twenties and now that I am a Mom to a lively little 2 year old I want to make a change and in turn hopefully inspire my husband to get healthy too.

I want to eat healthier, lighter portions and workout more. I eat past the point that im full and over indulge. For a women of my little height thats not good. I work full time and I have made excuses for not having time to workout. However, I realize that is just not going to fly and so for the past two weeks I have been working out 5-6 times a week and I feel so good after a workout.
My workout mantra is "No Excuses.. Just start". 5 mins is better than none. I find 5 mins into a workout Im pretty happy to go for another 55 mins.

I had a C-section so I worry about how that will affect the final result but I am looking forward to feeling better in my own skin!!

Currently I am watching what I eat and following rules on the Beck Diet. I am working out to Zumba (DVDs):
Sculpt and Tone + Flat Abs (Day1)
Cardio Live (Day 2).
(DH loves to see my butt shake in front of the TV so thats added motivation!)

I started at 139 2 weeks back and am currently at 132 with ultimate goal of 110.

Here are my mini goals:
MG1 - 130 lbs
MG2 - 125 lbs (the lowest I weighed in 7 years)
MG3 - 120 lbs
MG2 - 115 lbs
GOAL - 110 llbs

I dont care how long it takes. I realize that I cant do those quick weightloss diets because my weight climbs back on inevitabily. So I am going to give myself time in order to give this weight loss effort a chance!

I can't wait to meet these goals and to encourage you on your weight loss journey!

Love,

A very excited Momma!

Thank you for your encouraging words!!! :)

I was wondering how fo you get your little weight loss timeline at the bottom of your post and how were you able to place your weight info on your profile. The website keeps stalling on me. Prob because Im logging in from work. LOL

You can do the part on the left under your user name where the join date and # of posts is by clicking on User CP at the top left and then profile (I think), then scroll down and you'll see where to put it.

The progress bars that show in the post have a 30 day waiting period and you must have more than 20 posts.
