Looking for warrior buddies
 
Hi,

My name is Jenn and I have spent my 48 years battling/ dealing with more than my share of chronic issues. I am here looking for friends to journey with me as I battle my body. Please drop by any inspire me.

Here is what I am dealing with: born with kidney disease that causes me to deal with 2-3 bladder/kidney infections every month; 8 herniated discs; chronic pain; chronic headaches; arthritis especially painful in my hands and knees; and most recently gout which has me dealing with the affects of prednisone - a powerful steroid that is responsible for rapid and massive weight gain.

I personally have several issues, including hip injuy, weak ankles, fibromyalgia.

Some of the tips I can give you are:

Make sure you drink your 64 ounces of water a day. I do 16 ounces before each meal, and then as needed drink the rest.

Go to http://www.myfitnesspal.com and sign up, or with a similar program to make it easy for you to log your exercise, food and water intake.

Welcome!!! I know from personal experience it makes it much more difficult when there are health issues and you feel like crap most of the time. I'm trying very hard to keep a positive attitude and think about how much better I will feel WHEN I lose the weight. Keep pushing forward and best of luck!!!
