New Beginnings - An Intro

Hi - Getting out of my comfort zone and introducing myself right away. I'm a normal lurker, but it's all or nothing for me.
I'm starting on IP tomorrow. I've done reading and research since the first of December (lurked here a lot) and decided this was the plan I wanted for my lifestyle change.
I have approximately 100 pounds to lose, over the last 8 years I have gained 80 pounds. I feel rotten, toxic and I'm so ready to feel good, in a healthy way.
I know it won't be easy, but I am more than ready. I'm ready for some discomfort, but then again, I have felt uncomfortable for so long, it's nothing new for me. I know I'll need encouragement and I look forward to becoming a valuable member of this forum. Thanks!!

Thanks for reading my post, im glad I was able to inspire you! The first week is the toughest but once you get through it and see your first weeks weigh in you will be hooked. The weeks will honestly fly by and you will be looking forward to weigh in's! I always was scared to weigh myself but now I am so excited for my Wednesday morning weigh ins. And always remember even if the weight didnt drop as much as you wanted one week take into consideration your inches. Some weeks I lost 3 pounds and barely any inches and others I lost around 1.5 pounds but lost a bunch of inches!

Congrats on starting your journey, if you have any questions or even just need some support on those tough days remember you have a whole support system here!

Cheers!
