Default New member to site, new Metabolic Research Center DIETER !
Hi.. I just joined the group today as I just joined Metabolic Research Center in Bentonville this week. I read the others posts about "car salesman" approach and felt it too. I think some of the consultants are pushier than others. I have 3 friends who have done well on the program. Anyone else just starting? They have me only doing 3 days of the "preconditioning" phase before going to the class on menus. I spent $660 yesterday, and now $150 more Friday night. I hope I'm giong in the right direction. It is an investment in health, I know that. I lost 85 pounds on New Directions in 2010 (protein shakes/puddings only) and gained 60 back at the 2 year mark, so I didn't learn nutrition and how to really EAT REAL food ! I hate to let go of this much $$ but I feel this is the best option.

I am at 254 pounds, goal of 180.

Hi Marcia, I just joined today too!
I don't know about the Metabolic Research Center, sounds very costly to me, but hey, if it works, then good for you!!!
I haven't actually gotten started yet. Plans to as soon as I get well!
