My pants ain't fit'n no more! Uh oh!

You know...

If I was rich, growing out of clothes wouldn't be a problem. But I am not rich. I'm in a just-over-minimum-wage job, barely paying rent, paying for what college classes I can, and eating all the free expired food I can at said just-over-minimum-wage job.

So: growing out of my clothes and no money to buy more (not to mention, no interest in becoming one of those overweight nudists), I might need to start taking this "I need to lose weight" thing seriously.

I've never been happy with my body and had unsuccessfully been on diet after diet, but after joining WeightWatchers and losing fifteen pounds, I thought I could handle being healthy on my own.

Well... I can't. Haha. And WeightWatchers? EXPENSIVE. So, I figured... surround myself in people with the same problem, get some support, hear someone REAL's success story, and maybe this hopeful pessimist could find that motivation.

I'm going to do my best to keep up with this, and it would really help if I could make some friends.

If you want to talk comics, video games, art... or, y'know... nutrition or something... feel free to message me! I can have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor, but please don't take it as being mean. I'm really not. Confront me in real life and I'm more likely to start crying than fight back. Haha!

Thanks for reading, and I hope to get to know you- YES, YOU- soon! <3

Ohhhh crap Raven, I run into the same problem! :o I am counting points at home, and am losing. You can do it. You can find a ton of WW info for free online.

Welcome, Raven! Like Lacey, I am doing the ww momentum program on my own at home. I was already pretty familiar with the program because, like you, I had a lot of success on it in the past. I've been using a combination of resources I found online and stuff I bought cheap on ebay. If you can, try doing it at home and use this forum as your "meeting/weigh in" space. We're all getting through this together!!

Thanks for the welcome-wagon, guys! Been keeping myself "outta trouble" the past couple days. Even worked out this morning! Decided on using a Weight Watchers-esque cheat. As in: got a Weight Watchers calculator app and a point countdown/log app. Been doing well... two days ain't bad! xP Normally woulda said "eff-it" by now and given in to sweet temptation... but having no money to spend on sweets helps.

Tomorrow's payday. Pray for me! Hahaha!
