Newbie looking for hope.

My name is Tess, and I am 18 years old. I have been heavy my whole life, but I am now in college, and I realize that I cannot allow myself to stay heavy forever. Someday I want to have kids and a good job, but I fear weight discrimination.

More importantly, I would like to feel healthy and happy with myself. I am not looking to get super skinny or anything like that, but I would really like to get out of the plus sized clothes and feel more like my peers.

I have no idea how I am going to accomplish this, but I am determined.

I love working out, and I don't feel like I eat too much, but I think the problem is that I eat too frequently, and the wrong things.

Anyway, I am looking to get down to around 200 from my current weight of 275.

Welcome and good luck.

Have you looked at either FitDay or MyFitnessPal (internet sites)? They help you track what you eat and how much you use up during exercise.

Hi and welcome!

Eating frequently isn't a bad thing....as long as its the right foods and smaller portions. Best of luck with your goals :) just stick to your goals and keep your eyes on the prize.
