n00b alert!

Hi all, my name's Noelle and I stumbled randomly into what seems to be a lovely and supportive site yesterday. I seem to be "the big one" wherever I am, although I'm not giant (5'2", 190#s, size 14 pants....my weight tends to end up in my boobs, belly and thighs quite evenly so I never look as large as I feel!). I have a busy job and a busy home and a stressful, not so healthy relationship. At my worst, I weighed 227 after a 2 year run with depression. That was in early 2007. I worked my way down to 163 as of December 2011 and was then diagnosed with endometriosis and underwent surgery January 31st 2012 to remove a cyst from each ovary (and a small bit of the right ovary itself). After surgery I was laid up for about 6 weeks and then minimal physical activity for another 5 weeks on top of that. Then I just stopped paying attention and when I stepped on the scale last week I was at 190! I was shocked, and mad....and so disappointed in myself. So I'm hopping back on the health train to get back down to where I was a year ago and then to take it further. I have employed my super healthy, pescatarian sister to cook work dinners for me two weeks a month (typical work week for me is 60-90 hours!) as a bit of a boost and we start that next week. I'm bad at eating breakfast but I'm also (when eating right) a fast oxidizer. I'm 25, an 80# dogmoose mommy and also a full time college student on top of working so much.
I'm here to read support, ask a few questions, share in a common struggle and give and get ideas and a few butt kicks when I slack off. I'll be a bit slow posting to start up I'm sure, I'm a bit shy....even on the internet. So, here's to making it happen and making new friends and finding the support that is most helpful (support from others rowing the same boat!).
