My name is Jessica and I am new here, I have looked around a few times before but never joined.

I have a long way to go in my weight loss journey.

A little about me:

I am 25 years old, happily married and have one daughter who is 6. My house pets include 3 dogs and 2 snakes.

The last time I weighed myself I was at 449 lbs. this was a few months ago, I have to go to a local dr's office to get weighed because no at home scale will go up high enough for me to weigh myself. The only other person who knows how much I weigh is my husband...but I feel like I need to say it, that I need to put it out there so that it will help inspire me to loose the weight.

My original motivation for finally starting to try to loose the weight is my sister-in-law's wedding. She wants me to be a bridesmaid and I cannot handle the idea of standing up there with her other 5 brides maids and looking how I do. I have a friend who is helping me push to my goal, which is ahigh one. Unlike most, I don't have a goal weight. I have a goal size. As of right now I am a size 32/34 in most things. I want to be down to a size 14/16. I want to be at a healthy weight.

I used to desire to be a size 5...however now I really don't find the need to be what society tells me is attractive...I just want to feel good, be able to run with my daughter, still have some curves, and be healthy.

I am not sure what all I was supposed to write in here lol but hope this helps you get to know me :)
