hi....and so..

and so...

hello! LOOK ITS THE DANCING CARROT :carrot::carrot::carrot:, i'm so excited to see him. Also I need to know how to add the weight loss progress thing at the bottom on my forum because those are awesome.

So...my story is really similar to a lot of peoples. I've been overweight most of my life, but I am recently discovering that a lot of my weight and shape has to do with my diet :) as in allegies people, not like you know typical diet thought. I remember when I was 9..my stomach got really puffy and huge and then progressively, the rest of me got puffy and huge...and regular 'diets' don't fix digestion issues. So this year, I got the brilliant idea to try wheat free...not gluten free, but wheat free and I lost 15 pounds in 2 weeks...I was STOKED...but my life being what it is...I slipped up but I didn't gain any of the weight back, fortunately but my weight loss has stalled. I also noticed that my stomach started going down and back in and I lost a lot of puffiness and was getting a lil shapely,( let me also interject that I discovered the value of Digestive enzymes in a bottle...if you don't take those, get off the computer, go to vitamin shoppe and get them. They will change your life)....and then I got in a car accident,( totalled my car, emotional and physical trama, chiropractor 3 times a week and counseling twice a week), :( and it really threw me off and I walked away from everything I figured out because living wheat free is difficult and its just easier to eat whatever. But, I've been having tummy cramps after I eat and now I'm not really desiring food and I don't really want to eat anymore so I feel kind of eww. Last night I got the idea to maybe try juicing because I like it...and I really have to get back started eating more vegetables because I don't really like vegetables...and so juicing so I went on craigslist and I found a BREVILLE JUICE ELITE for like $50 and I bought it and today I went to the market and brought lots and lots of veggies and fruits and now I am trying to come up with a diet plan that suits me. I don't like to do huge limitations on myself, I just like to take it slow and easy and give myself room...so I'm thinking I'm going to try a 75% juice 25% food diet thing for a couple of weeks to get myself back on track. I'd love to try 100% juice feasting but I'm afraid that might not work, so if I'm going to give myself a lil room to eat whole food if I want, like some roasted potatoes or green beans or salad or something like that. I would like to just get down to healthy size. I'm an 18 now, I tell myself I'd be happy if I can get to a 12 or a 10 but a recent conversation with my mom where she told me she used to weigh like 120 pounds when she was younger led me to believe that maybe just maybe I can get down a lil further. I don't want to be so skinny that I'm afraid to eat peanut butter for fear my jeans won't fit but I do want to be small enough that a healthy diet and moderate exercise keeps me there without having to deprive myself of awesome food. I thought about going raw, but that lifestyle is not for me. I'm southern ya'll. lol, It won't work...but I am willing to go fruit and veggie binge for 3 to 6 months and see where that gets me and see if I can renew my digestive system...so that's where I am right now.:). I'm happy to be here and look forward to getting to know you all.

thanx...

SO in reading other peoples posts, I discovered how you figure out if your scale is off! I was reading in the GOAL section and someone mentioned that they just took one of their weights and set it on their scale. I have two scales! One analog and one digital that I bought because I didn't think my analog was accurate, TURNS OUT its the digital one that's off so I'm actually 5 pounds littlier then I thought I was :) :) :)...lol. I'll take that.
