Introducing myself

Hi my name is Julie, and I am starting on this weight loss journey again, I am a yo yo dieter from way back, and I fall off the wagon very easily. I find it hard to stay motivated, I lost weight before and then just put it all back on as well as a few extra kgs. I am very disappointed in myself for getting this size :o. I hope that with some inspiration and some motivation I can kick start myself into shedding this extra bulk. Thanks for reading this far hope I didn't bore anyone, I guess you have heard it all before. :)

Good for you for getting up off the matt again and again. That takes alot of gumption. You can draw on that experience and do it differently this time! And of course you weren't boring! Everyone's story is unique even if we share some traits. And that is what I have found so great about this place. People understand!
Welcome Julie.

Thank you for all the welcome's, and I know I can do it I have before, but this time will be my last attempt, I am so sick of the yo yo train, and I am in the right frame of mind to do it and make it stick this time. So good luck to all of us and I know with motivation and positive feedback from all of you we can and will succeed, you are all so inspiring.

Julie

Welcome Julie... It's so wonderful to see others we can relate to! I feel like yo yo dieting is a common challenge and a common goal that many of us are trying to overcome as a group; I don't feel alone anymore :)

I have lost 30 pounds. 10 pounds at a time so I wouldn't over-work my body. I can tell you I've never been more proud of myself. I don't think I've ever reached such a big goal in my life.

Sometimes all it takes is losing the first 10 pounds. Those 10 pounds can become your inspiration and motivation to lose the next 10 pounds so on and so forth.

But either way congrats on making the first step of signing up for this site. Sometimes that little extra support can do wonders.
