It's about time
Hello everybody,
I'm new here. Now 27 years old, I have always been overweight, but during adolescence it got really bad with the emotional eating etc, and then I just couldn't get rid of the weight for years. When I tried to restrict my food intake, it led to binging. The last two years I tried the intuitive way, but while it helped a lot with feeling better in relation to food and my body, I didn't lose weight. Four years ago I started taking ballet classes (weighing 300lb:cool:) and recently my inner growth and passion for dance have made it possible to lose weight. Now, I don't want to stop! I count calories, try to eat healthy and balanced, and am a member of Weight Watchers since October. I take five to six ballet classes a week and do some strength and cardio when I find time. I am looking forward to give and receive help from all of you who are on a similar journey. Have a beautiful day! Aliénor |
