Hey! Newbie here

I've been struggling with my weight since middle school. I am 5'4. I was 150 lbs upon graduating high school and my weight never truly bothered me. I did not to go college after high school and just stuck with my job. I play a LOT of computer games (it's my hobby) so I spend a ton of time sitting. I weighed 170 lbs when I turned 19. I met the love of my life online and moved across the country to be with him. We both eat very unhealthy and it's starting to catch up to both of us. I currently weigh 242 lbs... I have terrible stretch marks from gaining so much weight in a little time frame. I've honestly never ate healthy before... I'm really looking at some ideas for food to pick up this weekend.

My boyfriend and I have go off and on with Insanity! (work out program made by Beachbody) in the past. But I feel like all the jumping is too hard on me right now. My mom lost weight doing P90X so I started that on Monday.. I feel my body tightening up and I have a lot more energy. I just need to get the healthy eating part done right this time. Please help! Thanks!

Hello and welcome! Glad you have decided to get on track.

Fruits and veggies are a great source of nutrition, plus you can eat a lot of them for the amount of calories consumed!!

I wish you the best. A lot of us are doing this, and YOU can too!
